Warm ups

Here are just a few of the drawings I did when I saw The Parisian Woman at the South Coast Repertory. It was brilliant and wonderfully delightful to see. I highly suggest seeing it this final week if you can. The performances were superb.

A line from the play that I wrote down was: “You don’t have to leave a mark to be fulfilled.” You’re able to understand the main character’s motivation, whether or not you agree with her actions, and this allows you to root for her to succeed. Fantastic writing.

(I couldn’t remember all the colors from the set, so I guessed a bit).

Aww, thank you very much.

I don’t do sadness

I saw Spring Awakening a month ago, and it was just too amazing.

The Parisian Woman was beyond amazing! The writing and actors just made it phenomenal. I highly suggesting seeing it; it’s playing at the South Coast Repertory until May 5.

Oh my gosh, seeing Dana Delany performing on stage from a first row seat, incredible. She is the best. I drew the cast and should have some drawings up sometime this week. My mind is just stunned by that incredible experience.
